1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use BAVE:

  • Account Data: Email address, full name, and account credentials (hashed password).
  • License Data: License keys, hardware IDs (HWID), device names, and activation history.
  • Usage Telemetry (opt-in): Encoder version, processing duration, error logs, and basic system information (OS, CPU model, available RAM). Telemetry is strictly opt-in and can be disabled at any time in the encoder settings.
  • Payment Data: Payment method, transaction amount, and transaction reference. We do not store full payment card details; payments are processed by Parspal.
  • Communication Data: Correspondence submitted through support tickets, grant applications, or direct email.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service; (b) process license purchases and activations; (c) communicate with you regarding your account, license, and support requests; (d) detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized use; (e) comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account remains active. License activation records are retained for the duration of the license plus two (2) years for audit purposes. Telemetry data, if enabled, is retained for 12 months. Support correspondence is retained for 3 years. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@benyaminkhodabandeh.ir.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers:

  • Cloudflare (Workers, D1, KV, Pages, R2): Infrastructure and hosting. Data may transit through Cloudflare's global network.
  • Resend (email): Transactional email delivery (verification, password reset, notifications). Email addresses are transmitted to Resend for delivery.
  • Parspal (payment): Payment processing. Payment details are handled by Parspal under their privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking

BAVE uses essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. You may configure your browser to reject cookies, but this may affect the functionality of the Service.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations); (d) withdraw consent for telemetry at any time; (e) export your data in a portable format. 7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest (Cloudflare D1/KV), encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), Ed25519-signed JWTs for authentication, and PBKDF2 hashed passwords. Despite these measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

8. International Transfers

Your data is processed on Cloudflare's global network, which may involve transfer to countries outside your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. Cloudflare complies with applicable data protection frameworks for cross-border data transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

BAVE is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
